The Kellogg Family is planning an overnight whitewater kayaking trip through the Gunnison Gorge in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. With no guide, no help, and 11 kids in tow, they must bring everything they need to survive and navigate 14 miles of raging whitewater in the gorge. They must carefully pack all of their supplies into dry bags and carry their kayaks and supplies almost 2 miles into the gorge. Once in the gorge there is no escape up the 1,000 foot walls of the steep canyon. They must depend on each other to make it down the river and out of the gorge.
